Before interning at J3c.io, I was provided with the initial prompt to create an app that helped users post health events and build community through fitness. In response, I created Sunlot, an app that allows users to build a new social network that is driven by real-life interactions and powered through fitness.

What is Sunlot?
Say hi to Alex. She just moved to the city for her new job. Since she just moved, she isn't familiar with anyone in the city.
She regularly enjoys jogging, so she thought it would be a good idea to join a running group to make some new friends
Except it wasn't that easy to find one.
Facebook and instagram were unreliable with location and time. Other apps placed too much emphasis on competition.
All Alex wanted was a place where she could discover group fitness events where she can make friends. Being healthy is great, but being healthy with friends is even better!
Which is why we made SULOT!
SUNLOT is an app focused on growing community and promoting wellness through group fitness.

The homepage updates the user on events going on nearby and what their friends have been up to!
The map allows for the user to find events going on near them and search specific events
User profiles help users to let their community know what they've been up to, what events they have scheduled, and how much they've benefitted from being a sunlot user.
Users can create posts, events, and messages to reach out to their community.
Users can message their friends and groups to further foster community.
Widgets
AI Suggestions
If I had more time...
Widgets can help remind users on what they have scheduled and keep them updated on their community.
Suggested equipment by AI can help users feel better prepared for their events while providing a source of revenue from sponsored products.
